Pet Sitting Service

Dogs are social animals and prefer to be with people versus locked away in a kennel room or left alone at home being visited only once or twice a day to be let out.  At Wash & Wag pet sitting is provided in our home where your pet will be comfortable and cared for as a member of our family during their stay.  We choose to keep our clientele limited, so your pet will receive plenty of individual people and play time, and you’ll receive peace of mind knowing they’re happy.

To help provide a Safe and Healthy environment we have a few “House Manners” we insist on…

  1. Can’t we all just get along… Pets must be social and non-aggressive toward others
  2. The grass is always greener… Pets must be reliably housebroken and potty outside
  3. Furniture and beds… Pets not allowed, these are for 2 legged critters only
  4. No extra guests… Pets must be free of fleas and ticks
  5. Table legs are not for teething… Pets must be non-destructive
  6. Battle of the sexes… Pets must be spayed/neutered

Due to the nature of pets being cared for inside our home they will be required to have a Bath, Brush &  Blow Dry service on Drop Off day at current pricing (see “Grooming Services” page); pets staying 7 or more days will receive BB&B service free of charge.  Drop Off /Pick Up is by appointment only.  Payment-In-Full is due on the date service begins.  Please contact us for space availability and to discuss your pets individual needs.  All pet sitting is considered on a case by case basis along with pets temperament and activity level.  Pet size limit up to 35 lbs.

  • Pet Sitting Rate is $35.00 Per Day, Per Dog
  • Free BB&B Service with 7 or more days stay

At Wash & Wag we have a fenced acre yard with mature shade trees and plenty of room for outdoor exercise and play while under our supervision.   Our “Host” dog Angus will greet new visitors and show them the ropes if they choose to have some dog company along with their people attention.  Angus is a 12 year old Golden Retriever who is a retired Search and Rescue trained K9.  His favorite activities these days include naps, socializing, and cow ear chews.
